Worship

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music. Psalm 98:4 (ESV)

At Mt. Hope we love to worship and praise God. Each Sunday, we sing traditional hymns and modern songs mirroring our diverse interests in worship styles and allowing each one of us to personally connect to God in worship. Lifting our voices and musical gifts to our Creator is among our greatest joys.

Choir, practices Wednesdays 7 p.m.

The choir performs special music and accompanies the congregation in song with a spirit of exuberant worship every Sunday morning and on special occasions.

Praise Band, practices Thursdays at 7 p.m.

The praise band routinely fills the sanctuary with the wonderful sounds of modern songs and traditional hymns. Through the talents of guitars, piano, bass, and singers we worship God through our ancient faith in a modern world.

Men’s & Women’s Choirs, practice times vary under the direction of the music director.

Special Music, practice times vary under the direction of the music director.

Barbershop quartets, exotic instruments, and other special musical contributions offer ways for individuals to use their unique talents to praise Christ Jesus. If you have a desire to sing and/or play an instrument during Sunday services, we eagerly welcome you and appreciate your interest.
