Gym Rentals and Weddings

MAC (Mt. Hope McIntyre Activities Center)

Mt. Hope’s MAC is a terrific gym built in the 2000’s for both the church and community to enjoy.  The air conditioned and heated gymnasium has a large basketball court and is easily transformed into a volleyball court as well. The gym floor offers high quality traction and support for games.  The center also houses a stage, kitchen, and our youth group room.

For outside groups looking to rent the MAC or our church’s fellowship hall, we have several different rate packages based on a single use or a regularly scheduled event, as well as calendars:

For reservations, call Craig Panizzoli at (734) 425-7280.

Mt. Hope’s sanctuary is an intimate, elegant setting for your special wedding.  As marriage is a sacred bond proscribed by God, we do all we can to encourage couples in their path of matrimony and union.  Mt. Hope Church sees several weddings every year, both from members and visitors.  Those interested in weddings at Mt. Hope should contact the church office for more information.

Wedding packages at Mt. Hope include all wedding preparation materials, five hours of pastoral support, a musician, a wedding service director, candelabra usage, a three-hour time slot for the wedding itself, and other assistance for the big day.  More information on weddings, including pricing, can be obtained by calling or visiting the church office.

  1. Hello! My husband and I are interested in making a reservation in your activity center/gym for a 3rd birthday party for our son. His birthday is November 5th and we are hoping to celebrate November 7th.

    1. Hello! While we are waiting through this Current situation our building and facilities are closed, it is possible that we could be back opened up by November but I can’t guarantee it. Can you call the church office on Monday and speak to my secretary Michelle, she is in from 9 to 1 and let me get all your contact information and than I can get back to you. We may be able to schedule it tenatively but it would be really difficult to lock it down yet.
